Accessibility Statement
Web Access for the Blind, LLC exists to help small businesses make their websites easier to use for people who are blind or visually impaired. We hold our own website to the same goal.
Our commitment
We want everyone who visits webaccessadvisor.com to be able to read our information, use our calculator, download our documents and talk with our AI assistant, whether they use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or voice.
The standard we work toward
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C WAI), the international group that sets web accessibility standards. You can learn more at https://www.w3.org/WAI/.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone.
- Buttons, links and form fields have labels a screen reader can read.
- Text has strong contrast and stays readable when zoomed to 200%.
- Our AI assistant can be used by text or by voice, and announces call status to screen readers.
- Our program documents are offered as downloadable PDFs.
Tools that may help you
Your browser and device have built-in accessibility settings, such as zoom, high contrast and text-to-speech. If you need a screen reader, NVDA is a free screen reader for Windows, available from NV Access at https://www.nvaccess.org/download/.
Limits we know about
We test our site and keep improving it, but some parts may not yet work perfectly for everyone. Some features, such as the AI assistant and document viewers, are provided by other companies, and we cannot always change how they work. Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to every screen reader. If a document does not work for you, contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please contact us. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will do our best to help within five business days.
